Reflecting on my college education

Hi everyone! I have been fairly inactive on this site for the last semester, but I am getting back into it as I continue my education and find myself looking for a place to keep all of my work organized. This is also a great place to keep track of what I’ve learned and where I am headed in my college education. So, what have I been up to over the past few months?

I’ve been doing a lot of work with music, and am finishing my last semester of music theory this week. A year ago I wasn’t planning on majoring in music. Then, I discovered music therapy, and suddenly my motivation to use music to serve others lit up like it hadn’t in a long time. Since then, I’ve decided not to go onto graduate school, but I am continuing in my double major and minor. My bigger projects have been within my communications studies (namely, a new subdomain of this website) and journalism (a variety of stories/articles written for classes as well as a volunteer Catholic magazine and a personal spiritual blog). Check out some of my work!

I am now planning on keeping this website updated more than I have been, as I am approaching my last year of college and have accumulated a great deal of knowledge and skills which I need to maintain and continue to use to grow. It is quite remarkable to reflect upon the past two years and all I have learned. Education is truly a gift.
